We present a finely preserved antique black stone plate, round in shape and meticulously hand-carved, originating from India. Historically, this traditional implement was employed for grinding saffron, a practice central to tika ceremonies. It is offered in good condition, distinguished by its attractive form and a well-developed, historical patina, making it an ideal acquisition for collectors of Indian ritualistic artifacts.
