Cut from white marble, this old round plate was traditionally used for rolling Indian chapati and reflects the practical design of earlier kitchenware. Its circular form has been hand carved into a pleasing shape, with the smooth stone surface showing the character of traditional workmanship. A rich aged patina adds warmth to its appearance, while the good condition preserves this distinctive Indian culinary object. Origin India.
