Used in traditional kitchens of an earlier period, this wooden pot represents an old-fashioned way of preparing and grinding spices. Its hand-carved construction gives it a distinctive form, while the naturally aged timber adds warmth and character to its appearance. Beyond its original kitchen purpose, it makes an appealing decorative object for collectors of traditional Indian utensils and rustic household accessories. Preserved in good condition, it displays a lovely rich patina. Origin India.
