Preserving the spirit of older Indian ceremonial objects, this hand-crafted kum kum box features an attractively carved wooden body finished with bright lacquer-painted decoration. It was originally used to keep kum kum powder for the traditional tika ceremony, giving it both cultural and decorative significance. The colourful finish and time-worn character make it an appealing piece for an antique display, traditional interior, or handicraft collection. Good condition with a rich patina. Origin India.
