This lovely small box was originally used for storing kum kum powder used during the traditional tika ceremony in India. It’s made of wood and features intricate hand carving for a unique shape. The box was also painted with a thick coat of glossy lacquer paint. The wood itself is in good condition, with a rich patina. It adds an element of history to your collection.
