Inspired by traditional Indian folk craftsmanship, this wooden spice box takes the charming form of a bird figurine. Carefully hand carved with an appealing silhouette, it is finely hand painted, adding colour and individuality to its decorative appearance. Originally designed for keeping spices, this interesting object combines the usefulness of an old kitchen container with the character of a collectible wooden sculpture. It remains in good condition, displaying a lovely aged finish and rich patina. Origin India.
